I've been fascinated by powerful weather all my life, and tornados probably are at the top of my list of most fascinating events. To watch one change, shift, and meld with the weather around it is almost mystical, and it's humbling, in a way. You almost imagine that it has a personality - and some actually do. Regardless, I love the crazy weather and I'm utterly infatuated with tornados. I've never been able to see one personally IRL, but the videos I've seen always make me feel like it's going to happen one day. Hank, ya gotta be careful out there, my man, and don't drive where your guardian spirit can't go. You have a connection with nature that makes most people look twice, but it's just part of who you are. Never lose that! Happy trails!

I probably checked that book out at the library. And probably once the overdue fees got high enough, I ended up just buying it. For some strange reason, The storm calls us.

And throughout my child hood while other kids obsessed with Disney and cartoons, and toys I was obsessed with tornadoes, my dad had this old mini weather station that we hooked up at the house, he gave me a weather book and I would always turn directly to the page that had the tornado on it and I would tell him that I wanted to see that one day
