The "Wind Breaker's" First Chase
🕑 Added 2018-10-14 19:26:51 +0000 UTC Between booked performances and surfing, I was able to squeeze in a storm chase yesterday in East TX. It was pretty uneventful, but nice to get some red box time regardless.Missed the Tornadoes embedded in the messy line as I positioned South in the warm sector. Several little cells developed some rotation before being absorbed by the line and one went tornado warned. But again, nothing interesting happened in front of me.
FOR THOSE THAT ARE NEW HERE, we've named the new chase vehicle the Wind Breaker. I've completed engineering my camera mounts and rigs and they're working well. Some good floor mats and a deer guard should complete the car. I do miss the wider lower center gravity of the TIT, but overall, this car is starting to grow on me. Needs hail dents though.

A real shame you decided against naming it the T.W.A.T. Magnet... I couldn’t stop laughing at that one for hours, but I understand why... Imagine you making the news and telling the media channel your car’s name, on top of all the different places on your websites etc you would need to post such a polite acronym LOL!!
