Hopefully this death ridge blocking pattern will give way soon. We might have some lightning storms in my Houston backyard this evening to tide us over. Hungry for more!

Wonderful picture! During my early morning walk, I was lucky enough to watch a great deal of anvil lightening in southwest Fort Bend County. The storms were 25 miles to the west on the other side of Wharton. This was at daybreak so watching the sunrise in the east and the storm in the west was magical. :-)
