IO IL Severe Storm Event 3-28-20
🕑 Added 2020-03-27 16:10:39 +0000 UTCI will not be chasing the big event Saturday. A little too out of my range to invest 40 hours of driving (there-chase and back) for storms forecast to cruise 50+ mph.
So, I thought it would be fun to chat about the event as it unfolds here.
In the 4PM CT NAM run above, you can see reflectivity (precipitation) laid over BIG Significant Tornado parameters. If you're in or near the vicinity, you're gonna want to keep an eye on this.
