Check out Tim Vasquez, he wrote the books (literally) to teach how to storm chase and is on 4-5x/week on YouTube for 20 minutes analyzing the weather from a storm chasing perspective. How do you go about doodling on those forecast charts? I know everyone has a different variety spaghetti writing, whether that be fettuccine, chifferi, or penne; but I just want to make sure I at least have the basics down!

Cool, thanks Hank! I’d like to try my hand at forecasting. I’m still such a beginner that I look at satellite photos and try to see if I can find the jet stream and any low pressure areas, then flip over to SPC and see how close I was. Not often am I close. I have a model app but have not learned how to read them. I thought that if I just had it I could figure it out....yeah, that doesn’t work. More research is needed. Maybe after I graduate my oldest from my barnyard homeschool academy. Lol
