So yeah, current target Lawton OK to Vernon TX. There should be time after lunch to investigate a more northern option.
Yesterday was kind of a repeat of the day before. I followed a high based LP supercell with oddly very little lightning activity... Not counting the broken power line arcing. Highlights were meeting Bo Brown, the world's newest storm chaser and saving a rattlesnake panicked in the middle of the road by a big dually drive-by.

Good luck Hank. With the ongoing blizzard here I cannot travel, with our local NWS office using language like "travel will be extremely treacherous and life-threatening" in the warning text. I'll be the eye in the sky on radars though!

High Wind Warning in Omaha again today until 7PM, with gusts up to 65 mph, and sustained winds of 25-35 mph. Two new wildfires have started in SW Nebraska, with towns being evacuated. So many areas of Nebraska under Red Flag Warnings because of the wind and drought conditions. We had a short, but intense hail storm about 5 AM. Also had a stray turkey show up in our backyard shortly after. This spring has brought some of the strangest weather events I’ve ever seen in Nebraska. The farmers desperately need rain, especially those without irrigation. Food prices are going to continue to rise if this drought doesn’t break soon. Thanks for posting the uplifting pics Hank!
