Photo of the Every Other Month - Paducah - Crowell TX Tornado
🕑 Added 2022-05-27 20:26:49 +0000 UTCWith the help of your generosity I was able to bag this beauty on May 4, 2022. It's actually nice when tornadoes go where roads do not. You get to kick back in stress free awe.
I gambled (with confidence) that the atmosphere near South Dakota tomorrow evening will remain non-tornadic, but I'll likely hit up the Northern Plains storm event on Sunday.

Hi, Hank…if you have a moment, I have a question. I know the newer RAV4s like The Windbreaker have gone to the donut spare tire instead of the full-size one they used to keep stowed on the back door. As a guy who finds himself in some pretty far-flung locales on occasion, do you keep a separate full-size spare in your cargo area?

Thanks for this, Hank. Sara speaks for me, too.

When I saw this video, I was hopeful this one would find its way to the every-other-month photo lineup and I’m super stoked to see it here. Thank you!!!

Great photo Hank. Almost cartoon-esque in its perfect shape. Out of interest, what would you estimate the height of the cloud base to be?
Pecos Hank
Ain't that the truth. Especially if you have some pecan pie ;)

A beautiful tornado out in the middle of nowhere doing no harm is the best kind of tornado.

Beautiful as always. See you in the northern plains.

This is a beauty indeed, Hank, thank you for sharing, and good hunting on Sunday. It sure looks like Sunday might be Epic, so far.
