No sirens is so eerie, especially at night. It can be pitch black in Nebraska during storms, and if the electricity goes out, you only have lightning and headlights to guide you. Lived like that until I went to college. Glad you’re okay and made it back to Yankton.

I ended up in that nighttime high-precip tornado warning in Creighton, NE earlier. Very scary. No sirens there either. Saw a very nasty lowering wall cloud and a brief funnel. Glad I'm out of it. I am currently safe at my hotel in Yankton, SD.

I got right in the bear's cage of that supercell as it got tornado warned. Nasty wall cloud. Also Hank, I saw you pass me on the highway!

Hopefully none of you have been hit with the large hail and/or Tornado Warning near Chambers, NE. Please be careful everyone and get a little sleep tonight. Tomorrow sounds like it could be very crazy!

I was on that storm! Followed it for a good while but decided night chasing might be a bit too crazy. Plus my rental car can’t take that giant hail!

I’m on the tor warned storm south of O’Neil Nebraska. Lots of blinking but no tors from this view… yet.

And here comes the huge list of counties in a Tornado Watch until 2AM tomorrow morning. Central Nebraska eastward. Good luck everyone. Really don’t like tornadoes in the dark.

There are some very unhappy people camping in the Utah and Colorado Rockies this weekend. They have seen snow, rain, lightning, and there is more on the way from UT. I am cold and wet. I hope it starts moving for you folks on chasecations. It's helping the drought. That's a good thing....good luck all
