🕑 Added 2022-05-11 14:10:56 +0000 UTCAfter a night in a disgusting $55 motel6 in York Nebraska, I’m thinking early storm initiation around 1pm in northeast Nebraska today.
Had five days off to dump and sort all that sweet tornado footage captured on May 4th. Looks like I documented 6 tornadoes not including many satellite / gustnado type spin-ups. The longer video version will have to wait for the next break for an opportunity to publish. I now have 4 good videos half finished. Thanks for your patience Patrons. Been a pretty good year so far.

With regard to nasty motel rooms, i try to keep a camping tarp & decent sleeping bag in my camry when i travel. That way i can put the tarp on the bed & my sleeping bag over it & sleep in that. Outside of that i just try not to touch anything i do not absolutely have to.

Spent about 30 minutes doing it before the lightning activity subsided and my lack of sleep caught up with me. I’ll let you guys know if I managed to capture any.

Was on a decent little high based supercell earlier before the whole thing went upscale and bombarded us with gustnadoes/ QLCS circulations. Overall pretty fun chase. Might try for sprites in a little bit.

Storms seem to be struggling a bit. On the Iowa side of the river now watching these storms starting to turn a bit more northeast.
