June 9 Chase Target
🕑 Added 2022-06-09 15:13:15 +0000 UTCToday Skip & I are in agreement for a northwest Kansas target. We’ll be keeping an eye on SW Nebraska as well, dialing in commitment with future observations.
Yesterday’s 9 day GFS forecast was looking grim for tornado loving freaks. Models have not been in agreement so perhaps a flop is in the cards. Usually you have to say out loud 3 times, “the season is over” before Mother Nature embarrasses you with the tornado of the year. I have not spoken the words yet, but Shaw did once.
Good luck stubborn chasers.

You bet Hank, and not yet, sadly! I am trying to find a place to see it, I am in Virginia and my streaming services are grumpy. I have it set up to see on Netflix over the weekend, fingers crossed!

Good luck Hank and the rest of you chasing today. Watch between Colby and Dodge City, would be my plan.
Brenda
We’re supposed to have rain showers later today through the weekend, so maybe some lightning.
Pecos Hank
Thanks Baldevi. Have you seen Gungabai yet? Not sure I spelled it right.
Pecos Hank
Enjoy another blast of wind tonight Brenda.

Good luck Pres.

Best of luck [hopefully that is great luck] to you Hank and to Skip with your choices on which storms to chase. Looking forward to some amazing snaps of clouds, lightning and tornadoes soon!
Brenda
Good luck everyone and hope you’re able to find some great tornadoes or at least some very photogenic lightning! And remember, Nebraska has tornadoes well into June. The twins in Pilger were on 6/16, Coleridge/Laurel were on 6/17 and in 2003, Coleridge had an F4 on 6/23!!
Yeah, that's where I'm keeping my eye on as well with some DoT cameras near Salina and NW of there. Good luck to all of you out there today!
