So, been working for a while on this. Ended up expanding it considerably from the original idea. I'm still working on the tentacles part, it will be really something I haven't done before, the scale and details, especially with EEVEE! ;)
Any thoughts / comments at this point?
Also, some new characters incoming, which I have not seen anyone else using / making!

Well damn. I was hoping the release candidate of 2.8 would have Equirectangular rendering available, but digging further into it, it seems like the game engine basis for the rendering could be an issue for VR. There is a current method that's about halfway between 2.79's easy setup and the crazy non-Blender method of rendering 6 cameras and stitching them together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZq53eEVf6U

Hmm, that's a good idea. Though gotta see how I could do that practically.
I haven't decided how big it will be yet, I'm still adding more scenes. Animating tentacles mainly. But I'll be releasing the individual clips as well.
