2016 was the year. Almost every chase provided extremely photogenic storms, tornadoes, lightning, structure and clouds. I often wonder if I will every see a better storm season (2019 wasn't too shabby). Here's an April lightning storm in Bennington Kansas.

Right now I'm on standby for the 2% unlikely daytime tornado risk near Houston. Maybe there will be a bolt or two that steps out of the rain later this evening.
Tuesday is currently looking tornadoey. I won't be able to attend that meeting as the family is celebrating a successful kidney transplant in Colorado. We truly live in amazing time

Earlier this year we discovered our son just has one kidney, and a friend had a successful transplant last year too. Hope all stays well for them Hank and you're back out soon. Extreme weather can be mesmerising, but family is far more important.
