In this deadest of May’s, the marginal 2% chance of a mesoscale accident tornado is looking pretty good. The pattern the next 3 or 4 days looks similar…
Next week is looking pretty grim. But it could change.
These low pressure (anxiety wise) chases can be a lot of fun with slower paces and goofy animal encounter opportunities. I tend to think of them more as Monsoon chases, aiming at lightning and Time-lapses. Who knows, maybe my first pretty tornado of the year will be snagged.

Looks like it was a nail biter for sure. Hope you didn’t get caught up in the area where a lot of chasers were apparently unable to move??

Ok Hank, you need to seriously think about doing a ride along one day with a chaser who live streams. You have a lot of fans who light up the feed on those channels when they see the windbreaker. It would certainly boost their numbers.

Appears that yesterdays photogenic storms are to continue today (Thu) and tomorrow (Fri). May have to suffer through it and try to get up there after therapy tomorrow.
