April Fools Chase Today
🕑 Added 2024-04-01 14:26:16 +0000 UTCAbove is an ensemble of CAMS reflectivity forecasts. I think there's solid enough agreement to put the current target near Vernon TX to Lawton OK. This is well south of the SPC 10% Sig Tor outlook attm.
I'm currently not expecting pretty tornadoes, rather big mean outflow dominant hailers and the first 2024 Daniel Shaw sighting. So let's find out who gets fooled today.
Anybody else chasing? We'd appreciate your thoughts. I'll chime in with worthy stuff.
Gotta go! Good luck Fools!

I saw some pretty cool structure just north of Fort Worth after striking out in southern OK. I would have appreciated a break in the clouds earlier on to get a better look at the mid afternoon convection, but at least I narrowly avoided any issues with hail and came away scratch-free. All in all not a bad day

Good luck. Freezing here with thunder snow or graupel. Holy cold Batman! Ka-Pow!

Good luck! Maybe if you're really quiet, you can sneak up on the storms and prank them instead. :) If you don't mind my asking, what software/program do you use to follow these storms? I've been trying to look for something so I can head out to easterm CO sometime in May-June, but I don't know where to start!
