Here's a new MV for "Soul Chaser." This hasn't been officially released yet but I want you guys to be the first to see it. I've been using bits of this song for years but finally got around to assembling them properly. Each movement (section) reminds me of something. First and obviously the violent tornado, then a rain shower followed by the first CGs. And then the chase is on.... Some serene scenery followed by all the silly good times on the road and so on.
When I lived in California for a year, we used the words "soul surfer" a lot. A soul surfer isn't concerned with hype in the line-up. Not that there's anything wrong with hype, just seeking it is a different state of mind. Soul surfers happily ride a lesser wave rather than a crowded competitive break. Its not about being seen or recorded boasting an air or getting barreled, rather being in the water with friends, dolphins and swells just hangin' ten (and getting barreled).
So to me, we are soul chasers. Not always, but as much as possible.
I'll give this mp3 away to the EF3 tier here once its officially released, so don't buy it. Tomorrow I'll pop in with an eclipse cloud forecast. Down south Its currently not looking good in Texas, but better in Arkansas.

Hank, what an incredible video. First, the videography is so appealing. Timing the lightning with the strums was just beautiful. 2nd, I too lived in SoCal for about 10 years and was an avid surfer. Specifically, an avid longboarder. More specifically, an avid soul surfer. You totally spoke my language with this video. I still have the 9'0" single fin and 10'2" tri-fin to this day, despite being in land-locked Okrahoma.
