I really like this workflow, but when I attempt to use red and green masks, the masks are all black. Any suggestions?

Dear Mr Mumpitz. Soooooo.....when are you going to introduce a tier that will allow us to ask you for custom workflows??? Like I have a company logo I am working on and want only certain parts of it to animate and other to remain completely static but have everything blend together nicely. Waddayasay????
