Delsin is definitely fun to write, so I'm glad you enjoy him. ^-^ I have in mind a difference in the spirit of their sarcasm, but we'll see if that comes through.
Delsin is easily becoming a favorite quickly in my mind. Is he fun to write? Hopefully you can keep his sense of humor distinct from his sister (currently it is, but they both achieve humor from sarcasm)
I'm surprised neither of them thought to bring a basic shield. Well, I guess Emily does not need one with her aura blades, but it seems like Rick would have benefited from a shield. Maybe a mace, too.
