Thanks for providing feedback!

The updated key-shaped version of the locket looks good - it loses a little bit of the eye-catching bright colouration of the original sword design, but I think it's worth it to make the symbol more thematically appropriate. I think I prefer the Rainhorn cover with the blue-tinted pages, because of the contrast between them and the green of the symbol on the book's cover, which I'm guessing is the court crest of Anguedan or the Armeau family. This cover's a definite improvement over the more abstract design you previously showed from the other artist. It's also good that the artist is leaving a good bit of uncluttered space at the top for the book titles. Might need to be careful with the placement of the author name to avoid blocking the detail of the sketches at the bottom, though.

I’m even more worried Theo is drawing too much attention.

Sarah Lin

Glad to have met your expectations here. ^-^

Sarah Lin

Yeah, absolutely. There will be an announcement on RoyalRoad when the second book is published that also mentions these chapters. The unknown part is if there will be a delay before the third book is published. Chapters of the fourth should proceed here regardless.

Matt Venzke

Personally, I'd say to start posting the ones you posted here and leave a note that you're a whole book ahead on Patreon. Maybe delay if you want until you start the next book, but right now readers of the previous book have little idea that this book even exists unless they dug through enough links.

Oh good, I'd been expecting Tythes to have some schemes going on and his public persona to be an act, but after the last chapter I was afraid he was going to turn out to just be a typical Arrogant Young Master. Don't know why I worried.

Sarah Lin

I will definitely post to RoyalRoad, no question, I'm just unsure if I'll delay the release of the third book to post chapters there.

Matt Venzke

You should definitely post to RoyalRoad.... and let the people there know what's going to be published and where. I almost lost track of the series entirely before I found your Patreon and I don't think that you want to lose readers.

What a great twist !!

Awseome! ~echo~ This epilogue, just like the one at the end of the previous book, really makes me want to read the next book. Seems you really have a knack for it. Moaar pleez! Also, it's very satisfying to see that there's (a heck of a lot) more to Tythes than he lets on... as suspected.

Glaurung

Looks like Tythes is going to be a lot more interesting.

Awesome! Thank you so much and looking forwards to the next one! :) Top crumbs for the the third tier as well!

ECD

Very nice, good news. Pre-purchased the audiobook, thanks for letting me know.

The book art is amazing.

Thanks for the epiloge. Tythes was getting a bit suspicious when he showed up at the challenge then the convenient invitation bet was just too easy. I'm glad you had Nauda notice it.

I prefer the turquoise tinted one. In Russia you must davay to survive! Davay davay, artist, davay!
