Liking Esaire seems to be a minority opinion, but I think he plays a key role in the story. Hopefully you'll enjoy the developments of this in Skyvenom!

I’m rereading Deathseed now and got to ch 14, Esaire’s first POV in the book. He thought Theo “apparently remodeled” and it’s small touches like that which show the big gulf between Theo and Esaire’s perception of each other and reality. Great villain rival I’ll be almost sad to be done with him come Skyvenom.

I had a great time with Deathseed and already can't wait for the next one! Krikree is becoming a surprise favourite. I've left a 5 star review and have already recommended the series to a couple of people. Hopefully I'll get one of them hooked!
