New animals are being discovered and described by scientists each year, and the rule is that whoever describes a species first gets to pick the name. Over the years quite a lot of nerds have had the privilege of naming stuff and decided to get weird with it. There's animals named after videogames, sci-fi characters, politicians, a few years ago there was a bee that was named Beyonce because of its golden butt. If you could have a Creature named after you, what would it be? My faves: Squarepantsii, Turdus Maximus, Emo Vorticaudum and of course Hotwheels Sisyphus.
