CFQ is not abandoned

I've got 30+ messages asking if the CFQ is abandoned. Relax, we keep working on it. I didn't log into patreon because I didn't have anything concrete to report.
To clarify, here's my way of thinking: I want to make the best novel possible, but two of us can't do it alone in any meaningful amount of time. If I continue working on art and writing alone, our progress will slow down significantly. And that's without taking into account the animation and sound effects we want to add.
Our goal is to deliver demo updates every week or so. Now that the demos have more art it's rather difficult to achieve. I could scale back and make demos less packed like they were before (our programmer prefers that option), but most of you seemed to be against it. That's why we want to push ourselves a little further.
I took the opportunity to restructure due to a core team member leaving. I found a suitable editor, who could potentially be the lead writer(but it's complicated) and an animator. I'm negotiating with sound editors and assistant artists. Please understand that that looking for team members, talking to them, giving them test tasks, checking back and giving feedback takes time. Building and leading a multimedia team is work that I have no experience with.
Again, we could finish the novel on our own. In the worst case scenario, this is what we'll do. Our programmer is against this expansion, so perhaps it's not the right call. For now I want to try putting the money you gave us back into CFQ to increase its quality and speed up development. Since so many of you are concerned and have objections, we'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Last release (and it was a short one) was on may 21, that makes it 41/42 days without a new release. And last post update was 17/18 days ago, where the dev anounced the game was not abandoned:LUL: and he would most likely release an update neext week (that dind't happen xD) He also mentioned he dindt said anything before because he had nothing important to say. (really? :WaitWhat:) I see games that have monthly releases with 3 times more content and work on them. and after 41 days you have NOTHING? (they lost their editor, they make it seem like their house burn out or something XD) The game has no Animation, no English dubbing, its not a RPG just a visual novel. I think I lost all my confidence in the devs even if they update it somehow.

At the very least, he should provide an update on what's going on behind the scenes. Two and a half weeks of waiting, and nothing. I understand how long it takes to bring together a team, but providing a small update on any progress shouldn't be a problem.

I can't seem to understand how hard it would be to just post something, not even the demo just anything when you have went miles past your deadline of a week. Keep us guessing, For all we know it could be a month till something, could be 3 months, could be a year who knows. That's what's so bad about not communicating at all.

I thought that since they said they would try to release the update last week, it was close to being finished. But now that we're nearing the end of the week with no news at all, it seems like it's far from what we expected. It feels like they only said they'd try to release the update just to give a little bit of hope. But considering it's been 37 days since the last update, I don't expect it to come out this week either.

I think it would be a big step forward if the developer could confirm that we’ll receive an update (just general info on how things are going) every 10 days — or whatever schedule they feel comfortable with. Because if updates only come when there’s something concrete, it could easily be two weeks or more without any news, and we’re left guessing all over again. I’m pretty sure most of us here aren’t pressuring for the demo — we just want communication. We’re not asking for something immediate or daily, just a clear schedule that gives us some certainty and puts an end to this cycle of constant questions. With regular updates, all of this would be easily solved and the overall mood would be much more positive for everyone.

Personally I feel like people need to chill and let you and your team cook yes sometimes you dont post anything for a while but alot of other creators do the same thing people just need to put trust into you and your team and let you guys work I've seen it happen many times where people would private message the creator or spam on post putting unnecessary pressure on when there's no need for it you and team have shown time and time again geart quality work people just gotta chill and let you and your team work I wish you guys all the best and thank you for your hard work.

Quick comment on the animated sound preview I hope sound matches the action that is taking place in the illustration and that you can add new sounds accordingly depending on the scene reusing sounds is fine if necessary just hope future scenes especially (sex scenes have a meatier clap or sound to them) I’m not judging this scene in particular just know devs that sometimes keep one sound for the whole game and it kills the immersion also in terms of animations I don’t think animations are necessary for everything I think maybe mostly for future sex scenes I personally don’t like when games have animations but are kinda half baked sometimes they can also kill the immersion and be distracting if not done right I think focusing on sound and leaving some nice animation for scenes that it would benefit is fine, I much prefer slight animations like the way you did the animation for FMC when she was poking his bulge in a past update I think was perfect, animation is great for bigger scenes maybe but agin if the animation is gonna look tacky I prefer something like the pervious example I provided cheers on the game thanks for always listening to our recommendations! 🙏
