Ghilz

I am into both of those.

Zealot17

That she's quite smart (high mental) but unambitious/somewhat introvert and very loyal to Insight due to the latter appreciating her opinions was something I thought of as well. Not gonna pretend I thought of the pregnancy fetish but I sure as hell like it.

Groz

Swagger will behave animalistic for the time being. As for 'human rancher,' it is exactly what you think it is.

Groz

Loved your suggestion. The actress looked bored in most of her online awards and I had to sneak in a bit of that personality into Lu-Nyon's character.

Groz

It would be strange if everyone in a society were cartoon villains. And even Inglorious Basterds had the captured Nazi commander at the beginning of the movie behave honorably. And I agree, it fun to root for the 'good guy.' Swagger's inherently more endearing for it.

Ghilz

Hot damn that Swagger Als intrigued by that "human rancher" concept.

Zealot17

Huh, Lu-Nyon's (who's appearance I suggested) personality turned out to be very similar to what I imagined. Also pregnancy fetish. Prisoner is certainly able to indulge that...

Jens Thoma

I really love your decision. Don't ask me why, but I started to like Swagger and would love to see more of his... "Lawful Good" dumb decisions... And yes, I can sadly totally find myself in this. ^^

Groz

The Prisoner is planning on stabilizing the blood curse.

Smol Clone

That didn't really answer my question, will the blood curse claim them or will they be stabilised?? I understand if the cryptic answer is to not give spoilers, but would be nice if it's a bit clearer

Groz

That is the Prisoner's plan...

Smol Clone

Are blood hounds going to be left behind like the last batch, or is this a base line for the next chapter until they're stabilised?

Groz

yes, the only one who had a childhood was Raven Swagger, which is rare. The pysche profiles are there so their personalities remain consistent and to generate ideas for future content. Most of the dimensional nursery graduates become Sparrows. Their lives are alluded to in Whisper's dreams. Yes. Other races are empowered or magic users. The percentages depend on the species. And yes, powerful monsters are a thing in this world.

Milk Hounds: These produce resources that fuel the growth of others. While he would want more, but they are generally stationary. He needs them at a minimum capability of running around on their own. Some of Insight's squad would not reach this level because they relied on flight magic instead. War Hounds: Magic and Empowered abilities at a certain level. The Prisoner prefers not to make anyone into a War Hound or Blood Hound. However, he is expecting trouble up ahead and having another combatant is insurance. Blood Hounds that are from a near civilian levels of Empowerment are weak.

Groz

Good question: It depends on the base abilities and the need. Sled Hounds: He needs more transport capability. How he is choosing them depends on how weak their base empowered levels are. Even if they are highly magically developed, he needs them to reach a certain level of fitness/empowered ki levels to be useful. Blood Hounds: Berserkers Are they legitimately dying beyond the saving capability of healing potions, becoming a blood hound saves them from death.

Jose

How interesting. I'm curious what the power rankings are of this world with the different Ki and magic levels. Surely magic using monsters are a thing and I imagine Orcs were probably natural Ki users which is why humanity had so much trouble with them. Based on the psyche profiles I'm going to guess the type of hound varies on what turns them on or what they are shamed by. Lots of lore hints too with the dimensional nursery and how pretty much every half elf doesn't have a loving mother and the elves only care how useful they are.

SomeYoungGuy

How is the Prisoner deciding who becomes what kind of hound? Is it random? Is it based on their innate abilities or characteristics?
