Every so often I like to change up what instrument patches I'm using. Some of you may have noticed these periods when my overall sound changes. Some may have not, and that's ok too! I do this all just to keep things interesting for me in the studio. It helps me to ensure I'm staying inspired and continually producing great music for you guys.
So yesterday, I went back to some old instruments that I haven't used in quite some time. I used to use these a lot when I first started Patreon, and when I was still doing the Youtube vids every week. Honestly it felt good, like seeing an old friend again after a few years apart. I think for that reason, I had this song done in just a couple of hours. It was almost effortless. Almost. :D
All this to say, I think when I get into that kind of flow state, is when I right some of my best tunes. I have a feeling this one will be one that I come back and listen to for years to come.

Everytime I hear echoing/reverb like this, I instantly think of caverns or desolate winterlands. I dig this a lot.
