I really like how today's song turned out. It's a bit different than what I've been doing for a while. Which is the best segue I can think of right now...
A lot of tracks I've done have been attempts at mimicking other great songs. I mean, that's really pretty common in most creative fields. You try to mimic the artist/musician/writer that inspire you. And along the way you start to find your voice.
But recently, I've started to wonder if my music really has an identity. Or more simply, if I have "my own sound." I don't know if I do...so I guess you could say I was having a bit of an "Identity Crisis" hahaha..haha....ha.....
Anyway, it may have just been a bout with imposter syndrome this week, or more likely a desire to grow and be a better version of me. Either way, those feelings delivered this song for ya. So if you're reading this, let me know your thoughts on all this. I always enjoy getting feedback from you guys, good or bad!

I feel like if you are emulating other styles, you are putting your own spin on it. I really like that. There's a 'heart' to a lot of the themes that I'm really grateful for. When I started looking for music for games in various places at first, I was not finding that. So I would say, yes. Thanks for the music!
