🎾 Back on court
🕑 Added 2023-01-08 23:16:47 +0000 UTCBy the age of eighteen Kari had been county champion three years running. The "Cheshire Sharapova", they called her, and she was known for her blistering topspin and big serve.
Now she's better known for eating big servings of her husband's cooking. Guess eight years of investment banking will do that to a figure.
Still, can't fault her split stance and hip rotation.

Sorry for the delay on getting this posted - I hope you like it! 🙂
Fun fact: Tennis is the one sport the real-life Hal plays (very badly but with great enthusiasm and a pretty bad temper!). So expect more of these sorts of pics in future. The downside is that although I don't play well, I do know how you're supposed to play, and as a result spent literally ages trying to get Kari's grip to look right - though I did give up on trying to create the impression of raquet lag.
What I've been working on
- Still going on Kari and Yaz in Take these away from me. First part should be finished and posted by the end of this week.
- Donna's Dinner: a Kewlkidz commission featuring a very fat and pompous ex-model and her protégé.
- A couple of Michelle tennis images to go with these two of Kari, and a little bit of a story to go with it.
- With the help of the new TikTok voice filter, a little audio of a spectator commenting on how Kari looks in this pic. Completely new area for me! I'll try to get this finished this week, to see if it's the kind of thing people like.
What's been inspiring me?
Rochelle Anthony from this season's UK apprentice. Wow! It's like someone reached into my mind and created a real person out of my character fantasies!
Fuller update next week!

Yes! Sometimes with a glimpse of bum crease when they detach the second serve ball from that inner lining thing in the skirt. At the level I play, the skill and age of the players varies wildly from match to match. I came up against a very cute opponent (mixed doubles) in autumn. Mid-thirties, wearing one of those stylish short hoodies that seemed a little puffed out around her waist. I spent the first four or five games trying to work out whether this was general airy bagginess or a paunch, but all I discovered was that she was clearly on a much higher skill level than the rest of us, and extremely competitive. Then the moment came. My backhand slice (all my backhands are slices) dropped unintentionally short. She came thundering in. But she wasn't quite quick enough, and ended up stretching for it and thumping it into the tape. Cue a great roar of frustration as she leans back, raising her racquet in both hands like an axe. Up goes the hoody, out pops a decidedly tubby belly, pink and quivering. It certainly wasn't hard to see why she was a little slow around the court, with such a chunky gut weighing her down.

I love this as I also play tennis and one of the undoubted highlights is seeing an overweight lady or two giving it their all but visibly out of breath and sweating with those sexy excess lbs wobbling around. There’s nothing quite like fat thighs in a short tennis skirt!
