still waiting for the PodcastOne material to become available here. I mean...Walter Hill. Kanye West...

Chris Wright

I was about fire off a defensive reply but you actually made some good points. You can fight back against corporate groupthink and punch some serious holes in their fleet, with the heated shot of incisive thinking. They aren't nearly as powerful as you might imagine, once you develop the right approach to cutting through the bullshit and winning some converts.

Laura Woods

Agreed. Colin Farrell would be a great interview subject.

Anna Fox

Really am enjoying this series. Would love to see you interview Colin Farrell, now that you mention him.

David Bogner

please stop complaining about corporate culture telling you what you can say and what you can’t. that sounds like generation wuss. thanks to the internet there are soo many ways to find your audience and make money of it. IF there is an audience for what you offer. disney has certain rules, stupid or not, and pewdiepie has every choice to take their money and act accordingly, or not. also: it’s a difference between fiction and your authentic self (which all the influencers/youtubers whatever claim to be). that said, love your work. greetings from vienna.

smotheredinhugs

Perfect! Really looking forward to it!

6 pm. There will be a link to view for gold and platinum and then a separate Patreon window for platinum to submit questions for bret, art and Adam.

smotheredinhugs

Is there a link we are supposed to get?

The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast

Can’t say what will happen yet, but likely you would be given ample notice and we would rework some of the rewards and tiers to best serve everyone’s needs.

I'm not asking completely rhetorically. I probably could afford $240/year for a platinum membership, depending on how many platinum members crowd the live stream Q&A pool and how thoroughly Bret addresses everyone's questions each stream. But, hypothetically speaking, what would happen if the podcast grew exponentially in popularity and you moved to a weekly schedule? Would the episode charges shift proportionally, or perhaps go to a monthly model? I suspect it's more likely that the opposite happens and that Bret takes a few hiatuses where nobody gets charged, but just some questions I have as someone who might be able to just barely justify a platinum membership at $10.

Steven

Thanks team, appreciate the good work.

The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast

Good math.

SwampOrSea

So essentially a platinum membership would be $20/month based on a bi-weekly streaming schedule?

HP

Great stuff

David Bischke

Cool. Thanks!

The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast

Soon.

David Bischke

Any chance that members can get access to a feed of all the old B.E.E. podcasts before he switched over to Patreon? Or does PodcastOne own those?

Jason Calacanis

boom! I'm in.

The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast

Platinum members can watch video replays of the livestreams but yeah, Europeans gotta wake up early to ask questions live! -Adam

Europeanness (no, you're a penis!) is screwing me once again
