GREAT INTERVIEW!!! While Bret compliments the gal, she was so triggered and cringed at some of his answers. I audibly AGREED with Bret on so many points he made. Love this podcast. And love Bret. This coming from a straight white conservative male.

The TimesTalk lady was very sweet toward Bret with this gentle vibe almost of intervention to her questions, haha. It was also a way to signal to others that she's not necessarily on board with what WHITE is about. I hope Bret gets more chances to give interviews without it being a fraught combat zone like I suspect they will be.

this was, thankfully, the best interview yet about the book and about Ellis' views, which like any human fluctuate, but it didn't feel like an attack, it felt like an honest inquiry ..unlike the New Yorker piece which was atrocious

Great interview! Haha, I'm Gen-X and love video games (and novels). The personal computer and video games are a gen-x thing (at least for the geeky ones.. I'm an engineer). The game he was trying to remember is Red Dead Redemption 2, it's really pushing the boundaries in terms of making games more cinematic (dialogs, animations, story beats, humor, realistic/parodic depiction of the US circa 1900) :P
