The project is NOT finished however, it will be back for the last 15 or so oil/polish evolutions, then a good waxing. There is really no practical way to get a good finish with any system in less than a week, and we knew that going in.

Really, really nice. These pics and the original video were fun to watch. I'm just about to re-stock my Ruger Red Label. It'll require inletting I wasn't anticipating. Excellent yard stick to measure my work against.

That definitely would pass the gunrack smell test. If I didn't knew it, I probably wouldn't notice, or think any of it. Great job.

If you didn't know to look for it, it may not be spotted. And could further disapear once the finish is, you know, finished. Will this be watco oil?
