Edits made: -changed lines in ch. 19 to justify the Valiant Companions being in the forest: they are tracked by the authorities - justified they outlaws not sticking together in Chapter 21 - made an edit where Flora admitted being part of a secret society to avoid being sold. Clearly mentioned that it was a problem for much later. I'll start with that.

Alright after reading everything, the red thread will be revealed at the end of the arc and I foreshadowed it with the dream. I cannot tell more without spoiling. I have to ask for your patience. Regarding your comment on secret society I agree with Crow speculating and I will keep the mention. I intend to use the group much, much later and Crow mentioning this will help. I will edit more chapters and notify you when it's done. I would be interested to see what you think. I need to mention it but this arc is meant to be slightly lighter with a lot of pretend and it's been difficult to implement. Cheers

Mecanimus

That's elaborate but I need to simplify the storyline for now. I changed chapter 19 to make it clear that they are suspects and that law enforcement from Georgia is after them. That explains why they have a camp in the wild lands.

Hmm I'm going to rewrite parts of this before uploading it on RR. Thanks for the feedback. Also don't worry about burning out, I think I'm fine for now.

Another thing! I don't really see the reason why the bandits would stay in the woods after they sold the women. They didn't make much money with it anyway and nobody except the group of our protagonist will give a shit if one lady is lost in the wild. Shouldn't they be back in town right now spinning some fantastical story how they lost the lady? Or if they want to stay low they could do it in the anonymity of the big cities they don't need to be in the Forrest. So you should perhaps include a secret contractor that bought the bandits and bound them buy magic so they couldn't say anything about it. Perhaps another secret society from Europe that heard about the plan of the prussian and they ordered the bandits to stay in the Forrest for a while to kill everybody that searches for the lady. Just my thoughts because the placement of the bandits makes no sense right now for them. You should always consider the motivations of the other characters in the story.

I don't think an agent of a secret society would have evidence on her that she is a member if it. Perhaps say that the Crow speculates it because what he found in the language or some feature that is really uncommen on the women. Let it be vague but not super vague. Are you sure that you won't develop it? I know that an author can burn out pretty quickly and you should really take your time and plan for the future. If writing is just for fun it would be no problem to go slow but if you need the money. Developing a community isn't easy. So you need like a red thread. You story right now has no real motivation. I think. I know she is just passing time to become a full vampire, but there should be something in the background that points in one direction. And perhaps it could be her bloodline that calls her to find her master or to Europe at one time in the story. Revenge is always good but right now she just cut her ties with the vampire community. As a reader I don't see any motivation for revenge in the background of the story. There is no lingering threat in the background because she is save right now. But in the end it makes sense. She is deep in the wilderness and the civilised vampires and the order won't come after a ghost story that points in that direction. They will keep their eyes in the cities. So perhaps a scene where she has to go to city and it reminds her if the threat. But the current direction is really good and interesting. And research could be a key point for you story. If it's set in our world with supernatural elements you need to include a timeline. It will give your story authenticity, and you don't need to do much. Just mention some political development in a discussion of some prey she stalks. Humans like you saw them in the last chapter together without speaking is very rare. They would try to comfort themselves with chat. It is in our nature because we are a social species. You were doing this already pretty good with Ariane. Her longing for the vampiric society but not the human one. She is stubborn in one way and her development should be slower so that the reader can really fell it with her. The changes in the body and mind. You're already doing this like the scene where the giant asks her if she is a little bit drunk from the hunt. And it's really good. Such details in the background of the main story add to the story and give it authenticity. And I say it again. Take your time!! I have seen super story's before but the author rushed it or there were personal problems and it burned them out. If you need time for yourself or your family take it. Because you and the story are going to suffer from it if you force it too much. This is a really good idea for a story and your stile is pretty good so I would like to read more of your ideas far far in the future to enjoy myself. Research is really important. You should observe other storys on RR and how they promote their story. I found once a really good guide on the internet about it. You should always be informed. Anyway thx for the answer!!

Alright, I have questions. For the Prussian society it was just for flavor, it won't be developed at any point. It was just to explain why the woman explored stuff and show that Bingle is naive. Do you think I should completely remove it or be super vague? I could just say she belongs to some secret society. For the native American myths, I was considering it and I will include it in three arcs. This one has a very different focus, you will see. Also, I always do a bit of research before writing. For example, the Choctaw really were present around this area of Louisiana and their names are actual Choctaw words. I did not update because I am focusing on finishing this arc and will edit the full arc when I am done. Anyway, thanks for reading and thanks for your support and comments.

And thx for the hard work

And I really like your approach on native American powers and culture and it would be really exciting to see monsters/myths of their culture appearing in the story. Like the wendigo or skinwalkers or Kojote the Trickster God/Spirit. You should read some of the myths. It makes for good ideas. I can only advice you to look at the topic on YouTube at the channel, history extra credits, I think was the name.

Good! But don't overdo it. Three chapters on one day isn't nothing. Take your time to consolidate your work and think about what you can make better. I really like your aproche to the story. The little and bigger timejumps are good. You have a talent to write about the intressting bits of the journey and life of Ariane. I really would like to see the vampire/supernatural society and powerplays but the current story is equally intriguing. But beware of too much information at once. Like the introduction of the cult or the prussian society. I felt it was a bit forced to do so, because the old world at the time wasn't really invested in the new world. You could perhaps find a timeframe for your story to take place, or perhaps I just forgot it. But with a timeframe you can place your fictional story's and internal agendas of the supernatural society with actual history. It will make your story more believable and you don't have to pull the motivations of the characters out of nothingness. An example would be: You could set the timeframe at the a time period where the old world nations where fighting each other in the new world and world world and the prussian secret group is heavily invested in central politics of the time period and they need some artefact or other thing to consolidate their power in Europe against other groups, for example France. In the real world France and prussia were rivals and contested in many thing, war, culture, music etc. But good work right now!! I'm really enjoying your approach on vampire society. It's exciting.
