Wow, I love this story I am thankful they have someone like her she's like a barbarian guardian or champion another thing that is cool is that she is not 'sworn to carry your burdens'

Jokes aside it was a recurring complaint by Counter, the Discord mod. Why is it that most fantasy/Isekai churches have assholes at their heads? So weird.

Yes! A thousand times yes! This story just gets better and better. Absolutely in love with this initial interaction between Viv and Marruk. I really like how Viv is not "good", she is freely thinking about how to manipulate situations to selfishly benefit herself long term, but she is still honorable and understands how to lift others up. A much more realistic and interesting protagonist than these types of tales normally get. <3
