the first para was amusing, esp as you did it w/o resort to unnec crudity, just making it rather deadpan. I can just see the MC: "huh, biodegradable minty asswipes. Well, that's a thing." It made me smile.

I can totally see a grown up arthor 'kidnapping' Viv and everybody freaking out cuz the dragon kidnapped the 'princess/empress' but really arthor was lonely and wanted belly rubs.
