there's actually a surprising number of people who get upset at the sound of people eating. Misophonia(can be for other sounds too) is estimated to effect 15% of the population.

I think it's okay. She is in adventurer mode and they like her already. If she gets powerful enough she can switch to full majesty mode and they will just fall on their knees.

Hmmmm mixed feelings about this one.. On the one hand, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable chapter. On the other I don't like that Viv was so casual and open with the mountain people. Regardless of what she might think she IS the last member of the emperial family and heir to the throne, they are her future subjects and will undoubtedly prove very useful when the time comes for her to rebuild the empire. Oh well, it's early days...
