Announcement: I'm taking three days off.

As for why, well it's easy. I have been confined in Shanghai for three weeks and we are going to be confined at least another two because of asinine rules, even though no one in my compound tested positive. There are no store deliveries. We're getting food like it's the heyday of the cultural revolution and I'm slowly going insane. I have written exactly 400 words of the chapter due tomorrow and my brain is leaking through my damn ears.
So no chapter for three days I'm going to slaughter demons on the dumbest FPS I can find and take a deep breath. Sorry and cheers.

You poor thing. I would suggest taking a walk and getting away from all the people for an hour or two but I imagine that is the last thing they will let you do. After the demon murder grows old, maybe find a good book to crawl into and hide there for a few days. Good luck.

no chocolate??? wtf!? that's cruel and unusual punishment. Locked up w/o chocolate; I'd be murderin' after about 30min. Less if it's a stressful day. Lotsa murderin'.

People keep getting paid. Those who can work from home while others sleep in their workplace. The government gave us free stuff and the communities organize the rest. We won't starve or anything it's just annoying especially because the deliveries are blocked except for truly essential stuff.

That really sounds like hell, solitary confinement of any kind really sucks. I hope the restrictions relax soon. How exactly does the support system work while in quarantine? Where do you get paid from, the company your working at or the government? How exactly does it work for you guys?
