These past couple days have been almost entirely spent making sure everything is working okay in the Discord, and following up on all the outreach I've received.
As of today, the flood of support has begun to level off, and I'm grateful to each and every one of you who are supporting me - I hope I'll be able to live up to the expectations I've set for myself, and create the content I really want to make for you all!
Next week's gonna be busy but I'm so glad you're all here with me.

You looked happier than I remember seeing you before, even while clearly struggling occasionally to find the words to express your feelings and goals. I'm an old tech at this point. There are some things I do that other don't believe they can - when anyone shows an interest, I try to both share my passion, but also make things understandable. A LOT like you describe your goal for the channel. I can say nothing is more rewarding than helping someone advance their understanding by helping them do for themselves. That feeling is the antiode, the antithesis, of the kind of "expertness" you described. I know that from personal experience, and I am certain you either already do or very soon will! I think your head and your heart are in the right place. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Expectations are something I've always struggled with. I can say the vibe I've gotten is that everyone who has joined simply wants to support you. I know I don't have any huge expectations. I would just want you to be yourself, enjoy what you do and share what you can. But I also know it can be a hard thing to accept. If I miss a weekly upload my first instinct is to shut it all down but I have to remind myself of why I support others on YT, Patreon etc. and know that they are probably like me. If their expectations aren't met they can always cancel their membership. But I think most people that would take that step to help support a creator usually have more realistic expectations than the average viewer. Behind you all the way and I hope you enjoy this new adventure!
