Not really, I follow several processes. But this is a very fun one, I use it when I want to add a lot of dirty details, to make very busy models. To get to high level it's a matter of how much time do you invest to correct stuff, blend, etc.

Do you sketch every model you're trying to paint to a high standard or do you only do this to illustrate values and you work with two colors for simplicity?
