I guess it depends on what "truth" her position as Arbitrator accepts as "the" truth. I might remember a different story, but was there a scene early on where Sonya tried to make blanket statements to check whether she works on subjective or objective truth? Because subjective truth can be changed, especially if you've spent 200 years in a Hyperglycemic Crime Chamber.

Or, making it a bit more complicated: Since Ishtar is now both Sonya's skill and a seperate entity, can the two of them swap "on the fly", so they can both say: "I am not Ishtar/Sonya." Depending on who is asked?

Quick thought: Now that Ishtar is a seperate entity, tied to Sonya, as well as Sonya's alter ego, is Sonya able to say "I am not Ishtar"? Because now the true statement is "We are Ishtar" So "I am Ishtar" is a lie.
