Migaku Browser Extension - Major Beta Release! (v0.8.2.2)

YOu need to update your add ons to be work with the current version of anki. People shouldn't have to install old versions to get this to work. This is basic.

Is there a way I can just pay someone to help me figure out how to install this? I really just want to start making sentence cards, but I feel like the time it takes to figure all this stuff out leaves me feeling overwhelmed and not even wanting to immerse anymore.

Hello, when I click on "confirm" to import anki words, the cursor gets a stop icon below. Any advice. Anki is on 2.1.35 and migaku plug in is the latest.

Those errors aren't issues, just restart your Chrome and things will work normally. We will make sure those errors (which are just warnings that happen after you update the extension but haven't yet refreshed a tab using the extension) aren't shown in a future version.

Hello, how do I disable the little popup that appears when I hover over words?

Raise their minimum size in the Migaku Dictionary Settings window.

Migaku Reader is currently in alpha until it gets all major bugs fixed.

Accounts are necessary for future feature sets, it's better to implement them earlier so that we can iron out the bugs before those new feature sets are implemented.

Stay on 2.1.35 for now but we're working on updates.

You should press shift then hover. Make sure you install dicts into the correct language in the top left language select of the settings window.

Thank you for your hard work guys. Could you please explain how do I use pop-up dictionary? I've installed a few Korean dictionaries in settings tab, clicked to parse a text of YouTube subtitles so that words are highlighted on hover. But there is no pop-up dictionary. Does it work only for reader or something? Or am I totally missing something?

nevermind I just had to sync my patreon with the account

When I sign into the add-on it tells me my patreon membership is expired even though I have the "Beta Releases" tier. Is that not the correct tier or is the add-on going crazy.

Just click on "Details" on extensions page. It shows versions over there

First of all, thanks for the hard work on a fantastic tool to aide in language learning! However, I'm not a fan of requiring an account to use the extension. It's just another account to manage and provides no substantial benefit. (For me) Although there is a privacy policy on migaku.io, it's not clearly linked anywhere from what I could see. In addition to potential usability problems if it requires a "recent" authentication and I am without internet and get locked out of local functionality.
