To answer Whinter's thought in panel 5, let's examine the elemental matchups between the members of Team Wild Berry Cheer and Team Clementine (name to be determined; Orange Melon-choly Crush?): Marian >> Tanrine: a captain versus a newbie is very one-sided Logan < Clementine: another captain has the advantage, but less so than above Vadelma = Taloupe: most evenly matched; brawn versus brain Looks like either Vadelma or Logan will have to outperform, or Marian would have to carry her team for Wild Berry Cheer to come out on top.
