Taking a bit more time to iron out some details
🕑 Added 2021-01-25 15:59:40 +0000 UTCSo, I always want to bit transparent with the stuff I'm doing and working on, and how I'm doing so. I'm going to be straightforward first and explain the reasons later.
I'm going to delay this update until around by the middle of the next month, and also, I'm freezing the subscriptions for this month, since I wouldn't put out an update by then and don't feel like I should get anything from it.
I'll continue to post some teasers to show what I've done so far every now and then, so I won't be inactive aswell.
Okay, with that out of the way... Right now I feel like I could get quite a bit more work done to get a cleaner release, and even have some time to work on reading through the game to iron out some of the early scenes and fix some continuity issues I've had for a while now.
I will take some more time to work on these smaller details that I feel I should have worked on earlier than later. On the other hand, I'm also working on getting my second game project (Currently named: "The Heir's Test") in a playable enough state where one could get a good feeling on how everything will be layed out and how the interactions with the story and characters will go.
A lot of this stuff has been more work than I anticipated and I'm also starting to want to put myself a better schedule and start taking this more seriously, avoiding any "crunch" to rush out some details that I haven't looked into deep enough and other stuff like that. I'm really grateful for all the support I've been getting and couldn't thank you enough, so, ultimately, I don't feel like delivering something I'm not that happy with in the first place, and I hope to continue improving on that. Hope you all understand.

I haven't heard of Gold Rush before but from what I've seen it's quite different from what I intend to make. I've talked about it a little before, but for starters, the setting is in a fantasy world, with fantasy creatures and magic and a female MC. Quite different from what I'm currently working on but at the same time, it will allow me to write more stuff I have in concept but I can't do in "My Destiny" since it would go too far off the Semi-Real World setting I want for it ( In the near future, I'll explain in greater detail what I expect to make of both these projects ) I'm still unsure about when I'll release a first version, since I've been going back and forth with many different concepts already but still struggle to find the right gameplay style and main mechanics I want to work in. However, the core of the game involves both some Sandbox style of exploration similar to "My Destiny" and a Management mechanic to keep in check and have under control.

"The Heir's Test" sounds a bit like "Gold Rush" ;) No issues with it as long it is fun and will be finished when started...but for that I think we don´t need to have fear. (When do you think we will see the first Version ? )
