Sales galore
I’m up to a toal of 1485 gold wortth of sales since I started the challenge. January has been about scaling and flipping materials. I Currently have 18 gold, 50 gold worth of sold auctions about to come in, and another 319 gold worth of auctions on the AH. I can now buy a huge variety of materials and I have large stocks when I buy.
Materials and consumables
There’s very little special tricks. I am using my previously published material flipping and consumable flipping groups and simply spamming out purchases and sales. This is what I will stick to. At my current profit rate I will need to sell about 3 times as much as I have sold so far, and with my AH value scaling up this should not be too long.
Time commitment
Last update I had 1 day and 8 hours played. I’m now up to 1 day 21 hours, so I have 13 hours of playtime since the last update which I recorded 20 days ago actually. I typically log in 1-3 times day to buy more materials and post what I buy. DOing it more often and during prime time hours is better, but I mostly play when the kids are asleep, so my sale rate is a lot worse than it could be. If you can do this continuously during the evening you can potentially replicate what I do in 3 days in a single day.
Top items
My top item is the Dark Rune, which is 75 gold profit on it’s own. Past that we have a bunch of different herbs. This window is missing some items as I did some flipping on my laptop just after christmas, but it is broadly correct. As of right now I have made gold on EVERY item I have resold, which is better than usual. I will often end up with a few misses, but that has not been the case.

Deposits will still kill you, at that point you can start adding BoEs if you want to keep scaling, but that is a bit more hands on than materials which is more fire and forget.

Thanks Lazy! As per the posts on discord, I've been following the exact same method using your groups and am currently at around 3300g . I am definitely noticing downward trends in some markets though. Question once you get to this scale - do you still exercise caution with the high deposit markets (eg some bars) or once you hit scale do you just mass market everything?
