I think she needs to take control of feral corruption for it to level up. Or perform something new, like merging it with divinity. This corruption currently is entirely under her thumb due to the GS.

I think against some death squad hunter that got killed by claw of corruption offscreen and adapting to corruption is probably only possible if you have divine essence. Luckily none of her future enemies will have divinity... wait.

Seriously, when has attacking an opponent with corruption ever worked? They usually go crazy and become stronger too.

The thing about the corruption is that it’s a battle of attrition. Even if the grand skill does serious damage to Salvos’s skill, she has already been infected and will succumb in time. It is a force that managed to wipe out the mortal realm’s most powerful beings all, the dragons, along side many of the demon and spirit realm’s top beings too.

Gonna make a wild guess and say that Chordus will become an ally. Her current form will become permanent, but she won't die, maybe due to Salvos' corruption. It was slightly foreshadowed when we saw Chordus' perspective, where she almost surrendered and switched sides, but the promise of a better world for the demons by Regnorex made her choose to fight for it. Now, if what Salvos said is true (verified thanks to a very handy skill she has) and in reality that goal is something that will bring the demons to a miserable end like what is happening to her now... I mean, it's not the first time we see an enemy become an ally after being surrounded by corruption for a while. Primordial Demon - Get?

I am missing at least a conversation with demons that are to be convinced to surrender what is the consequences of Regie Plan. Just asking to surrender without any argument seemed like just wishing for bloodlust

The world of my mind, how very literal :) this place is formed from her power and shard of true space, so while normally the corruption she could conjure and command would be not fully under her dominion, here it’s perfectly under control and most likely won’t have any of the… side effects of its use

I wonder if Salvos Grand Skill just got insta nuked. After all this is a single use Grand Skill, surely it's time for it to display it's full strength.

Thanks for the chapter! I'm curious what [Hidden Ace: Spade Of Graves] does.... I hope it makes sense and doesn't undermine the danger of the corruption as demonstrated by Salvos' struggles and the stories of the far past. I'd expect Chordus to fall to the corruption based on those, honestly. Let's see how it goes.
