If at all possible you should look into a freedom leg 3.0 crutch. It allows for 100% non weight bearing on the injured leg and also being 100% hands free!!

I wrote a note under the podcast yesterday about keeping that thigh and knee exercised (out of the boot). I had some trouble with stairs after mine came off because the muscles around the knee had become so weak. Keep that in the back of your head.
