100% agree. me and my brother were just talking about this - in case anyone forgot that SW took inspiration from westerns, the mandalorian and tbb are really making it clear. also the kiner bros are killing it with the soundtrack - the homage to the traditional western quick draw music was fantastic

sarry liddle lady... 😎 and at the risk of repeating myself again and again, but even though it's always been in the DNA of SW, the way the western has seeped back into a TON of it since Mando S1 started is glorious. add in that it's all been done so sublimely and *whisper it* we might be (with what we've had since Mando S1 AND what's to come) a few steps into the greatest spell of SW since it began...

My biggest question at this point is will we see the Cad Bane/Boba Fett standoff in this series or in The Book of Boba Fett?

Yeah, what happened to his face is interesting. Bendu keeps saying he'll be the first Death Trooper, but iirc Pershing said that the first phase of these new canon Dark Troopers were people, so Crosshair could become the first Dark Trooper too.

That would be really cool, I would like for them to keep Cad Bane's original demise but place it later in the timeline. And his showdown with Hunter was basically a shot for shot recreation of that scene in the unfinished arc

Boba Fett is all the rage right now, from BoBF to War of the Bounty Hunters, I'd be surprised if he DIDN'T show up at this point honestly

I had so many ideas who it could be, and Cad Bane wasn't even a thought! I should have known, haha! Agreed, I thought the shot went right through but I realized on a second watch that it was the red lights on his backpack. If Fennec and Cad Bane fight it's going to be epic

Now I have to wonder if Boba Fett will pop up so they can re-write his showdown with Cad from that Clone Wars lost episode.

Yeah I popped when Cad spoke. I’m so glad they are giving him another lease of life. Hopefully we get to see him at some point in the live action show so Fett can finish him off…maybe in the book of Boba Fett as we don’t know if it will be a series of stories set all over the timeline so Daniel Logan can get his moment to shine and take down Cad, with Cad giving him the dented helmet.

Cad Bane was the last person I expected to see, and I honestly thought Hunter died during their duel. Super intense and very excited to see him. What I'm wondering is if Fennec Shand will try and poach Bane's bounty before he turns in Omega.
