Good point Aidan. I am, obviously, far from a casual fan, let alone someone new to SW. So it makes sense that the first episode(s) are sort of a reintroduction (though to be fair, I think a casual viewer or person new to SW would have been pretty lost). I do agree, though, that this would have worked as 1 episode of ~35-40 minutes.

I do get what you're saying, but I would defend that saying it's the beginning of a season, and they need to draw people back into the show and remind people (especially any casual viewers) what this team is about. That said, I think it could have been one episode instead of 2.

Besides a boat load of action, I found this arc underwhelming. A lot of the same ol same for the series so far, including the Bad Batch making bad decisions. I think the only 'new' tidbits is what happened to Serenno. Which I guess is cool, but not sure it warrants 2 episodes.
