This is the end of the chapter! This one was very flashback heavy, but the next chapter will kick the plot into speedy motion. There'll be many new characters that I think you'll like, and it's also quite action packed. It's whopping 41 pages long and I can't wait to share it with you!
As always this will start the month of break between the chapters, but fear not! Starting next week I'll start posting 4 paged bonus comic for Magpie+ tiers to make sure the wait won't get unbearable.

Usma is empathetic towards all this. Eve isn't cruel just uncaring towards her vessel body.
This page just breaks my heart. Not just seeing Usma cry but seeing Antaras show submission to Eve while still insulting her just shows how deeply tormented he is. Up until this point Eve’s silence made her mysterious and regal and it was hard to understand why Antaras was so salty. Now that her true nature is revealed it absolutely heartbreaking for Antaras and seeing Usma express that heartbreak… ugh. I am so moved. I take back everything I said about Antaras being immature he’s just in so much pain. This is such a huge reveal and I’m still reeling, I’m so excited to see what the next chapter brings!
