Ooof, that hits hard. If the theories about Antaras trapping Eve in his dead mate's body are correct, this is a direct consequence of his actions. Desperate parents might come begging for help, and they will (most probably) be denied, which is hypocritical considering Antaras' own child is the only one that gets to live (at the others' expense). Judging by the last panel, he is not ignorant of this and he probably understands their misery, but he isn't going to change his mind. Agh, I am eating this story up, the characters are so complex!
