Superb chapter. Kadar seems to have a pretty secretive past with his past marriage and desperate getaway. Can't wait for Part 2! :)

That is the point that Kadar never seemed to realize as long as he is here already. That Ahsan for being a hyena even if a slave as well could be able to read. Lochan might even be free from the hyena's grasp because of him as well as I guess even the Overseer is unable to read.
