Ugh, I meant to make this another paragraph, but it auto-entered the above one. Anyway, the only thing I wanted to add to the above is that it will vary tribe to tribe. In short - keep reading.

Keep in mind this world isn't a direct metaphor, and that certain tribes will have different beliefs on the subject. But it was already foreshadowed long ago in OTBP that the northern tribes have issues with homosexuality. Consider Puck's entire backstory.

Hmm.. I am puzzled. Generally the native Americans were more accepting of same sex relationships and other relationships. It was only when the colonist with their Christian beliefs came in that this changed https://www.nps.gov/articles/gender-and-sexuality-in-native-america.htm
