No Remedy for Bitter Regrets

I was prepared for the potential that the Isidor/Malachi pairing would win, but it turned out to be quite a difficult story to write. I hope I've handled it with care, but if the premise seems ghoulish to you... well, yeah. That's part of the point.
DO NOT ready this story if you have not yet finished 'HeartTheft', it is based around one of the biggest spoilers in the entire book. If you don't care about that... have at it. But be warned!
Trigger Warnings - Adult Sexual Situations, References to Self-Harm, Religious Indoctrination, Internalized and Externalized Homophobia, emotional cheating (but not for real)

Beautiful.. and so fitting a story about one of the more tragic creations of the Abbey. I'd like to think that this dream was a visitation of Malachi's spirit to comfort and give completion for Isidor. Malachi did love Isidor.. and would have sacrificed so much more for to be with him. The idea the his suicide was also to enable that he would never have been questioned is a nice touch. Many may thanks for doing this.
