At the current rate, she should be appearing in the comic sometime next (or... next next) week? Provided everything goes according to plan.
Because of this, I have, of course, been sketching her in my free time.
Here's some of the first sketches of her I did. For the sake of the AU, she will be aged up to better match Steven's age.
Because of this, I'm having her hair be short. I feel like it helps her look a little more teenager ish.
She'll also have switched to contacts - I'm sorry if you liked her glasses. But not having to draw them will save me some precious time.
But don't worry, she's still a big nerd.

Very cool, and yeah, short hair definitely makes her look a bit older. I'm glad you've kept her tall as well, tall Connie kinda disappeared in canon after the first season. Are her parents going to be pretty much the same?

I don't think I've explicitly stated it in the comic, but some other people asked during the hiatus. The consensus is that it's practically on the same timeline as the show. But Steven is older than canon Steven was in the same timeline, and I'm taking artistic liberty and making Connie a bit older. (So she was born a bit earlier than canon Connie)

Not by much, but they're both a bit different in character, and are older, so it won't be 100% like in canon.
